Nancy Towbin, MD
About Dr. Towbin
Dr. Towbin has always served her community with excellence and compassion. She grew up in Fullerton, CA where she learned about the doctor-patient relationship from her father, who was also an Obstetrician-Gynecologist. She completed medical school at Keck USC School of Medicine in 1991 and residency at Los Angeles County/USC Women’s Hospital in 1995, where she was trained by some the field’s top gynecologic experts. She then joined her father in private practice where she developed her passion for women’s healthcare. Ultimately, Dr. Towbin decided to dedicate her attention to gynecology only, specializing in the needs of women. She works closely with her patients to understand the complexities of life, including the psychological, physical and social stressors that accompany women’s medical concerns. She cares for patients from adolescence to menopause. She believes that excellent preventative care along with modification of risk factors are the key components to a healthy, quality life.
Dr. Towbin is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and belongs to the North American Menopause Society. She has privileges at St. Jude Medical Center and Placentia Linda Hospital. She shares patient care along with her Physician Assistant and her long-time staff members.
